Unfortunately many of the state projects were started and then abandoned.

•  I am for the "ALL ALASKAN GAS LINE!" (6-10-10)

For the Gas Line, I want it to "STAY" in Alaska for the Alaskans. I have been misinformed about the BP/Conoco Phillips Denali Project. My Team is looking into all options on how to keep the Gas Line "ALL ALASKAN"! If for some reason it does go through Canada, I will demand that we get half the labor building it all the way through!

Other Factors:

Invite some big businesses into Alaska to bring jobs to Alaskans. Example: Boeing is looking for a home for some of their new electronic divisions.

Alaska can be a pivot point for all foreign trade.

All the big businesses stores, (box stores included) have moved into Alaska with a big welcome. I would like to see them pay it forward and move some of our Alaska Native products, (such as Eskimo parkas) to big markets. They have the ability to do this and by doing so, that would really help the work market in Alaska.

All in all I can’t do anything without surrounding myself with good people and listening to all of you across Alaska. We are all part of this state, and it will take us all working together to build Alaska strong.
